Short slide presentation about childbirth globalization and about various local responses in South America
Followed by a Q and A session with Eileen Stewart, CNM and Buffalo Birth Network
Small fund raiser with a short presentation of Peace Corps member Esther who works in Guatemala with Traditional Midwives and a domestic violence prevention program there. There will be a Pannel with a letter explaining the project
Pot luck and music with La Clandestina y La Raza Cosmica.

Regine Marton MS CNM is a Certified Nurse Midwife who has done field work with Traditional Midwives in the North of Brazil, she is a fervent advocate for empowerment and freedom of choice in productive choices for women. She wants to be part of the fight for local answers against globalization in childbirth in North and South America.
She currently lives in Buffalo where she continues her work with pregnant women. |
